1980
The Business was born, initially supplying Delecatessen Foodstuffs to Hotels, Restaurants and Retail Outlets on a Wholesale basis. Steadily the business grew and the customer base widend.
1986
We were approached by one of our customers who had a specific requirement for a Vegetarian Burger and so far as to say they couldn't obtain the exact product that they were after commercially. We created a recipe and then after a degree of tasting sessions, we produced the burgers and gauged the response, it was a complete success and so, the NutBurg was born!
1990
Continuing a very successful initial few years with the NutBurg product and one restaurant group, we were approached by a further chain with a keen interest in Vegetarian Nut Burgers. We then supplied this second restaurant chain and the popularity of the NutBurg brand grew.
1995 - to date
With the growing poularity of the NutBurg burger, the decision was taken to add variants to the original variety. After extensive consumer consultation and taste tests we added 3 NutBurg variants to the range: Curry, Chilli & Sun Dried Tomato. Each giving their own angle on the established favorite.
We continue to value consumer feedback and views and we have never lost touch with our founding values that produced the original recipe. Watch this space for seasonal "Limited Edition" variants in the future.
